Hire Developers
Hire React developers for web apps that are fast and findable
AMT's React developers build web applications, dashboards and Next.js sites, and fix React front ends that have become slow or hard to change. React is one of AMT's front-end stacks, alongside Angular and Vue. Hire one ReactJS developer into your team or several, with an AMT technical lead accountable for what they ship.

The rendering decision most React hires get wrong
How a React app renders decides whether search engines and AI assistants can read it. Vercel's December 2024 crawler study found that none of the major AI crawlers, including those behind ChatGPT and Claude, executed JavaScript. Google's crawler does. So a plain client-side React app can rank on Google and still be invisible to AI answers.
| Rendering | How it works | Use it for | Who can read it |
|---|---|---|---|
| Client-side rendering (a plain React SPA) | The browser builds the page from JavaScript | Logged-in apps, admin panels, internal dashboards | Google, after rendering. Not the AI crawlers in Vercel's study |
| Server-side rendering (SSR) | The server sends finished HTML on each request | Pages with live or personalised data that must be found | Every crawler |
| Static generation (SSG) | HTML is built ahead of time and refreshed on a schedule | Marketing pages, docs, blogs, product catalogues | Every crawler, fastest to load |
| React Server Components (Next.js App Router) | Components render on the server and ship less JavaScript | New apps that mix static and dynamic content | Every crawler |
What this means for your hire: if any page has to be found, hire a React developer with Next.js server rendering experience. If everything sits behind a login, solid client-side React is enough.
What AMT's React developers work on
- Customer-facing web applications
- SaaS dashboards and admin panels with heavy data
- Next.js marketing sites and content platforms
- Moving client-side React apps to server rendering so they can be indexed
- Performance work: slow renders, large bundles, poor Core Web Vitals
- Front ends for AI features: chat interfaces, streaming responses
Stack
| Layer | Tools |
|---|---|
| Core | React 19, TypeScript |
| Frameworks | Next.js (App Router), Vite |
| State and data | TanStack Query, Redux Toolkit, Zustand |
| UI | Tailwind CSS, Material UI, Storybook |
| Testing | Vitest, Jest, React Testing Library, Playwright |
| Back end pairing | Node.js, ASP.NET Core |
Six questions to ask any React developer you hire
- When would you choose server rendering over static generation? Listen for data freshness and personalisation, not "SSR is better".
- How do you find out why a component re-renders too often? Listen for the React DevTools Profiler, not guesswork.
- Where do you keep server data versus UI state? Listen for a data-fetching library for server data, and a small store only for UI state.
- What is on your accessibility checklist? Listen for keyboard navigation, focus handling, labels and contrast.
- How do you keep the JavaScript bundle small? Listen for code splitting, lazy loading and measuring before cutting.
- How do you test a component that fetches data? Listen for mocked network calls and testing what the user sees.
