A cloud-based real-time, personalised consumer mobile engagement platform utilising beacon (IoT) technology, enabling optimised retail analytics that facilitate discovery, drive footfall, and deliver personalised content in any physical space.
The Problem
Brick-and-mortar stores needed to understand and engage with customers in real-time the way online stores do. Challenges included scanning beacons from multiple vendors simultaneously, indoor navigation and tracking of customers and staff, building and validating SDK formats across manufacturers (Sensoro, Estimote, etc.).
The Solution
- Scanned beacons using SDK files for both iBeacons and Android Beacon SDK, integrating various SDKs from multiple beacon manufacturers into a unified platform.
- Resolved indoor location tracking and navigation using Google Maps and other indoor map navigation solutions.
- Built separate customised applications for customers and staff - staff could view customer details and provide individual offers for privileged customers.
- Deployed Android (Kotlin) and iOS (Swift) consumer applications to Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
The Outcome
A platform enabling brick-and-mortar stores to gauge customer preferences in real-time, innovatively market products with relevance and need, becoming the preferred brand for their customer demographic.
